Supporting Children and young people

Disabled children and young people in care are less likely to be reunited with family and often find their care environment more restrictive compared to that of non-disabled children; they are also more likely to remain in out-of-home care placements.

Real Mission Care provides suitable services for children and young people (16+) with different needs. Their mental health and availability of appropriate learning opportunities are assessed along with their personal care needs. Service users and their families are encouraged to be actively engaged with the service and, by making best use of available evidence, guidance and information, to contribute to a better outcome.
